This document relates to Internet Explorer 4 and 5, but may be of use to users of earlier versions also.
Setting up Internet Explorer
This section will show you how to configure your browser with your service connection and make our portal web site your home page.
This page assumes that you have installed, or know how to install and use your browser. If you don't, your best port of call is the Internet Explorer Home Page, or the Help files that are part of the package.
Setting your themail connection
Setting our portal site as your home page
- Start-Up Internet Explorer. In the address window type http://www.themail.co.uk
- From the View menu select Internet Options
- In the General Tab click the Use Current button in the home page section. Then click OK
- Now when you start Internet Explorer, our portal site will be your home page.
If you are using Outlook Express as your mail package, this will be selected by Internet Explorer by default. However, if you are using any other mail package that is compatible with Explorer you can select this from View->Internet Options and then select the Programs tab and use the drop down menus to select your mail program.
